BAPTIST WOMEN IN MINISTRY OF GEORGIA
Sara Owen Etheridge Student Scholarship

Annually, the Baptist Women in Ministry of Georgia award a scholarship to a Baptist woman who is from  or currently resides in Georgia, and has completed at least one year of seminary education (30 hours of study) whether at the Masters or Doctoral level.  Applicants may attend a Baptist or non-Baptist seminary.  The amount of the scholarship this year is $1500.  Applications must be received by March 15, 2010.

Please include the following with the application:
A listing of three references who will send a letter illustrating the Baptist woman's potential for ministry and her need of financial assistance;
A brief summary of the Baptist woman's call to ministry and plans for carrying out her calling;
A brief autobiography.

The awarding of the scholarship will be at the Spring Meeting of the Baptist Women in Ministry of Georgia.  The recipient will be invited and encouraged to be present at the meeting for the presentation of the scholarship award.
